I agree with Jeff Schroeder (comment 12) in that merely setting menus_have_icons=false by default, and doing nothing else, would not make anyone happy and therefore should not be done. I think this bug report is a bit confused because it started with a proposed solution rather than with a problem. ---------------- He has been always driving for a better implementation of the idea rather than simply removing the icons... Well... maybe his stance on this issue has changed ... *only mpt can clarify on this* .
