(I'm an upstream dev) I agree with the basic suggestion this ticket makes, but have no idea what kind of icon to use that would intrinsically say "BitTorrent client". If someone were to submit an icon that did this, I'd consider using it to follow the HiG, but IMO it's an impossible task.
