no, doesn't happen in 8.04.X, although I didn't have months of uptime with that yet, where it becomes very obvious. but after a week or two, it doesn't look bad, so I assume it's fixed. didn't notice it in 9.04 either, but I hardly used that for more than a couple of hours.
