Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bash
Currently, the .bash_aliases file is not read per default, since the apropriate lines are commented out in .bashrc file. ------------------------- #if [ -f ~/.bash_aliases ]; then # . ~/.bash_aliases #fi ------------------------- Please uncomment these lines and maybe port the standard aliases to the .bash_aliases file, so one can use it to easily sync his/her aliases over different Systems. It would become more felxible. ** Affects: bash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - [Wischlist] enable .bash_aliases in default installation + [Wishlist] enable .bash_aliases in default installation -- [Wishlist] enable .bash_aliases in default installation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/408329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
