Can people please test whether the attached file written to /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-sony-laptop-brightness.fdi, together with an otherwise unmodified set of hal fdi files, also works?
I believe this is what the earlier hal upload was aiming for, and fell just short of.
