Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
Issue: I have independent X screens set up with separate instances of Compiz running on each, and when I move my mouse between screens, the keyboard continues to control the original screen I was on. Clicking around the screen, in different applications occasionally grabs keyboard focus and it continues to work correctly until I want to move back to the other monitor. I could not find a pattern to this that was repeatable. Set Up: Ubuntu 9.10 RC3 running Gnome + Metacity Nvidia, 185.18.14-0ubuntu3, set up in xorg for seperate X sessions on each monitor. Via the Nvidia X Server Settings manager. Compiz fusion, 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu15, started individually on each monitor with: compiz --sm-disable --only-current-screen & Other Information: If I don't start Compiz, it all works correctly in Metacity with the separate X screens. If I start Compiz on one X screen with Metacity still running on the other, the issue occurs. If I run Compiz on both X screens, the issue still occurs. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Seperate X Screens, Sepearte Compiz Instance, Keyboard Focus Bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/408681 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
