I have this issue also. I have 2 printers, a color inkjet HP6500, and a laser HP3050.
It spits out only 1 blank page regardless of job size and I see errors regarding "weird page contents". these are some interesting log items ---------- cupsdAuthorize: Local authentication certificate not found! [Job 23] ( pstopdf ) Weird page contents CUPS-Set-Default: Unauthorized cupsdLoadRemoteCache: Not loading remote cache. Loading job cache file "/var/cache/cups/job.cache"... [Job 24] Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf (PID 6135) [Job 24] Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/pdftopdf (PID 6136) [Job 24] Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip (PID 6137) [Job 24] Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/socket (PID 6139) ---------- I recall a recent update to libpoppler and possibly cups.
