I have installed the openjdk-6-jdk (JDK 6) from Ubuntu repository. The version of Netbeans I have installed, is the 6.7 (I can not use the 6.5 that is in the repository because it have problems when you try to edit PHP files - there are some "null pointer exceptions" and "array of bound exceptions"; this problem has been solved in the Netbeans 6.7).
