I don't know how to find debugging info. I understood that in order
apport tio generate a bug report, it shoult intercept the crash. But my
computer freeze, i.e. even the kernel doesn't answer, so I think I have
no report generated.

I did some tests, that make me think that the problem in not in
thunderbird but in a library used to encode files :

- I enconter the same freeze when I send the files that make my computer
freeze with my webmail using firefox.

- I thought it could then be a problem with my filesystem, then I sent the same
file saved on an USB key :
     * same freeze while using my computer
     * no problem when using my webmail on a computer running Windows
my key is FAT32, and my files (PDFs) seem not corrupted because I can open
them, and I can send them unerd Windows.

I hope this infos will help you and I wold be happy to answer any
question.

I include a file that make Thunderbird crash.

- I tryed
