** Description changed: I've updated Jaunty today and thought I'd try playing a DVD. My laptop uses an ATI Radeon HD3200 chipset and the video playback is choppy and uses high CPU. Also, maximising the window or switching to full screen in Totem causes X to crash. If I disable Desktop effects, the playback quality is acceptable. I've attached the output of lspci -vvnn which I hope helps to get this resolved. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] RS780 Host Bridge [1022:9600] + Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device [1025:0177] + 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc RS780M/RS780MN [Radeon HD 3200 Graphics] [1002:9612] + Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device [1025:0177]
