Public bug reported: I have Maxtor 120GB HDD with two NTFS partitions.
I copied the second NTFS partition full from another HDD with Kubuntu Dolphin and with the next boot destination filesystem (the second partition only) was corrupted... (the source partition was also NTFS if it makes any difference :) ) I had to run CHKDSK from Windows to fix the partition... aparantly many index entries were faulty. It's likely that the copying was somewhat faulty because the index entries were corrupted for the files which should have been copied. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Copying NTFS partition full might cause NTFS errors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412119 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
