I'm seeing this too with the latest Adobe x86_64 plugin (10.0 r32). As workarounds I can disable the Flash plugin using the Tools->Add-ons Disable button, or configure Flashblock to not allow gmail to use Flash, and then it starts without crashing.
I have noticed that the crash happens when gmail is bringing up the chat window; that's probably where it's trying out Flash, which Gmail uses for their live chat feature (but has never worked on Linux anyway). -- Firefox update to 3.0.13 causes crash (segfault/SIGSEGV) when loading some Flash content https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409257 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
