Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virt-manager

In jaunty (at least) virt-manager presents a mouse pointer that does not
sync properly with the underlying guest. There is an issue whereby the
pointer hits an "invisible wall". Apparently a workaround is to add a
usb tablet and configure the guest appropriately but there is no guide
on how to do this (especially the latter). This is supposed to be fixed
upstream [1].
