 so for right now I'm kind of stuck.  I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 i386, though it 
is an AMD64 processor, due to the lack of flash, etc., so perhaps that's the 
culprit.  Regardless, I await your replies.  I'd attach the actual movie file, 
but it's way too large to even think about attaching, and Mark's hosting it for 
the moment.
