Public bug reported: I receive phone messages by e-mail from my voip company in the adpcm wav file format. VLC handle these files well, but not Totem or Rhythmbox. I suspect this is a GStreamer bug.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open attached file (08091343.wav: hanging phone) with either Totem or Rhythmbox. 2. Both programs try to download an ADPCM codec, then fail to play the file. ** Affects: gst-plugins-ugly Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: gst-plugins-ugly0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- GStreamer can't decode ADPCM files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/413633 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
