Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

Karmic was working well on my X61s laptop last week, but updates in the
last few days seem to have introduced a problem where it locks up hard:
neither ctrl-alt-f1 nor sysrq have any response. I've seen this about
four times in the last three days.

I'm not quite sure what this correlates with but it may be related to X
input grabs when there's a dropdown menu or I'm using the task switcher.

(Sorry, I realize there's not much to go on here.)
