Public bug reported: Occasionally, but often repeatably, text will display surrounded by black boxes. This is most problematic when the text itself is black!
I'll attach a couple of screenshots, one from Gnome DO, the other from Gramps. Both applications consistently show the bug, as does Notify OSD. Firefox will sometimes block out text too, but mostly with non- black text. Gramps is the only application I've found so far which will consistently block out black text. It only does it on one of its screens (the pedigree screen) but makes that bit of UI almost completely unusable.
