Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-flickr

* Package is called "Flickr on Plasma," a desktop widget - but I get the
same error with other links.

* Steps to reproduce: Click on the speed-menu item (in Flickr on
Plasma,) for visiting the web page of the currently displayed photo.

* Desired result: Should launch Firefox and display the desired Flickr
web page.

* Actual Result:

(1) Mouse cursor now has the Konquerer icon bouncing rapidly

(2) Task bar shows thousands of Konquerer processes being launched

(3) Task bar rapidly fills with thousands of task buttons for Konquerer
processes - but none are actually being launched. After a very long
delay (with thousands of task bar buttons being crammed together making
a strange display,) they all time-out and disappear - then start
accumulating again.

(4) Pressing Alt+Tab displays the currently executing processes as usual
- no Konquerer processes show-up.

* The logic that tries to launch the browser should either see that it's
failing and stop - or it should detect in advance that it will fail and
refuse to try. It should not go into an infinite loop.

(This may have something to do with my having removed Firefox-3.0 and
installed Firefox-3.5. I have no problems with 3.5 but perhaps the
system can't find it?)

Thanks!
Great work!
KUbuntu will soon be the best OS ever!

in the task bar (and a rapidly bouncing konquerer icon near the mouse!)
