Thanks to have reported this bug but can you give us some informations like
your distribution and architecture (Ubuntu 9.10 I think but 32bits or 64bits
?), your Desktop Manager (Gnome, KDE, XFCE,...) your Window Manager (Compiz,
Metacity, Kwin, etc.), if you use Cairo-Dock with or without OpenGL, your
graphic card, with which theme, etc.
If you think it can be helpful, please join the output of :
$ cairo-dock
or
$ cairo-dock -l debug
I confirm the bug with empathy but not what you say here. Maybe can you add
some precisions, a screenshot or a screencast ?
