Strangely, I came across this in the Debian BTS when investigating
whether to sync gpaint (0.3.3-2.1) to clear up a FTBFS.

So this patch has been committed to some Netbook Remix PPA? Is that
correct? It's been forwarded upstream and to Debian, but not actually
uploaded to Ubuntu apparently. Is it appropriate for Ubuntu? Seems like
it is. I can reproduce the bug. It was never even reported against the
Ubuntu package.

Is this a common practice? Are there other patches out there that should
get pushed back to Ubuntu? Seems like it would be simpler to push it to
all of Ubuntu and not maintain another version specific to UNR....

Anyways, I can confirm that this problem exists in Karmic, and that the
patch fixes it. Debdiffs attached adds this patch as well as merges the
new Debian revision fixing the FTBFS as well.
