Hi, Basing my work on some of other's I've packaged lives for Debian. Building the source package creates lives, lives-data, libweed0 and libweed-dev. The package has been sponsored and uploaded to ftp- master.debian.org, where it has been approved by the ftp master team. It will be moved from incoming.debian.org to the main Debian repository in roughly 2 1/2 hours. I'll then file a sync bug.
I know there have been multiple efforts to package for Ubuntu, but seeing as this version is (almost) in Debian, I suggest it be the version that get's synced into Ubuntu.
