Hi,
I think the other bug-report is not the same as this one.
The other bugreport (416924) claims that opening a "New" Tab doesn't work. It
doesn't say anything regarding loading in the "current" tab, which is the
normal middle-click behaviour that users had since before even Ubuntu existed.
Note also that switching to English language desktop didn't fix the
problem.
