I experience no advance in the splasy progress bar after doing a dist- upgrade on 8.04 LTS, which probably is a materialization of this problem. Don't want to manually add support for splashy in lsb- logging.sh, since it will break the very nice package system in Ubuntu.
Please help me on this. When testing on janty with adding deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/tohms/bugfixes/ubuntu jaunty main and trying to upgrade, I still get the conflict messages from apt. Any workaround on this?
