Same sort of problem affects upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04. No compatible driver the one used in 8.10 ie., AMD fglrx graphics driver. Hardware is Radeon X1650 pro. Brand is "HIS". Without it I am at the end of the upgrade line for Ubuntu.
