Public bug reported:

Build Version/Date: Karmic Updated 8/25/09
Environment used for testing: Dell XPS m1330 ( Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless
3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection )

Summary:
After updating my system, the wifi card is not re-enabled when the hardware
switch is used. This seems to be an issue that was resolved in Intrepid and
then again in Jaunty, but it appears to have re-surfaced.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Boot with switch set to disable wifi and BT
2) Move switch to enable wifi and BT
3) Reboot

Expected result:
2) Both come back up

Actual result:
2) BT comes back up but wifi stays down

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
