Well, I've got a ASUS A6km notebook, and the only way to get it boot from usb- stick is loading a custom DSDT table. Now that the patch is removed I cannot boot with any usb-devices attached. I'm currently digging into creating a custom kernel, but that leaves me out to security patches. The situation is unpleasant. Is there a way out of this?
