Hello,
The deskop-effects-kde is unmaintained by it's original authors and has been
removed from the Ubuntu archives for future releases. It has been replaced by
the built-in desktop effects settings within System Settings. Therefore it will
not be any updates for it, excepting fixes for security issues if they arise.
Thanks for your bug report all the same, and we hope that you continue
to report bugs in the future as you find them.
