Hi Jonathan, as mentioned before I got the similiar behaviour on a Samsung X20. But its working on gnome flawlessness nevertheless
cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/*/* type: Lid Switch state: closed So I guess its something Sebastian Kügler (sebas at kde dot org) could fix easily.
