Hi Kees.
On Breezy (and Hoary before it) I installed MythTV:
$ sudo apt-get install mythtv mythplugins
        (sorry, I'm not quite sure what you're asking)

One of the things I've always enjoyed about Ubuntu is that I get almost all
the software I want and rather than compiling (and figuring out all the
details of what went wrong) I get to actually *use* my computers :) Oh, and
when security vulns are found? I still get to keep using my computers... :)

I believe this was all upgraded during the dist-upgrade to dapper, but I still
used packages from the universe.

Upgrade path from breezy:
$ sudo perl -p -i -e 's/breezy/dapper/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
<4-6hrs later>
$ sudo reboot

(and then another 4 hours figuring out why X will no longer start... oddly
enough ending in a BIOS upgrade! Apparently my nvidia card and BIOS
combination caused some hiccup that Breezy's kernel only complained about but
Dapper's kernel outright refused... using both nv and nvidia drivers... but
that's another story and not one requiring the great and awesome power of
your team)
