Also, this bug is "unable to mount iPod with nautilus", i. e. it doesn't get automounted at all. Is that really the case for all reporters here? Or was the confusion just that the first partition is shown in GNOME, although it shouldn't? That can be rectified after I get the information from the previous comment.
So to untangle this a bit, there seem to be two problems here: (1) first partition is shown in GNOME, but should be hidden (2) iPod is not recognized in banshee Does that accurately describe the situation for all of you?
