Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

I have cable net. Nowadays I use wifi-router but first time (more than
1,5 year before but natirally it was not the Koala) I used the wired net
so that time the ethernet card was handled correctly. Some times later I
realized that clicking on network-manager icon it writes: "the tool is
not handled". and really: through the ethernet I did not have net. Now I
use Koala in VBox and the network-manager writes the same but I have net
in VBox despite of the little white cross in a red square on the
network-manager icon. At the same time I do not have net on the host
system, Ubuntu 9.04. I do not know from which version of Ubuntu or
network-manager it does not work.
