Hello Jonathan, Yes I am still having this issue with Kubuntu. I am using 6.10 Edgy Eft the latest version, I recently downloaded the Feisty Fawn herd 3 CD and tried using it as a Live CD just to test and not to install, and I could not boot the Live CD while plugged in.
I am using a Sony Vaio VGN-FS850P/W notebook w/ an Intel 915GM Chipset and 1.5 GB RAM Kubuntu has all of the updates.
