Public bug reported:
GNOME 2.28 has decided to apply "Text beside icons" setting by default
(http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnomecc-list/2009-July/msg00015.html) as you
can see in Karmic alpha 5.
But Synaptic follows its own setting.
With a brand new installation of Karmic alpha 5, Synaptic is not set to display
"Text beside icons"
