Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I was not doing anything special, but the CPU randomly started getting
hotter and then everything locked up. TTY terminals are accessible but
nothing in tty7 with GNOME can do anything. Pulseaudio was maxing out
my CPU. Also, the process cannot be killed using "kill PID"
