Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Since a couple of Updates my Notebook screen doesnt went black anymore.

Normaly after 1minute the screen went black for enerysaving, in Karmic (all
updates )
the screen flickers one time, and stays coloured as it was before the single
flicker.

Very anoying because screen is always turned on, no change of battery state or
plugged in.
Plugged in this event happens after 5 Minutes (whats set for energysavin by
user)

So it seems , the book wants to set the monitor in off mode, but he cant
it...

Notebook :

Toshiba Sattelite U400 (April 2009)
Graphic : X4500 PciE, 13 Inches Display

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
