** Attachment added: "strace, it doesn't show /dev/random but the start did
empty the pool"
   http://launchpadlibrarian.net/31911533/file.log

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

My max pool is 4096, with an average of 3600. When I start any part of
OO (writer, calc, presentation) my entropy drops from ~3600 to ~250

Ways to reproduce: Just start OO and monitor your entropy pool. Do this
by adding ${entropy_avail} to your .conkyrc or use "cat
- /proc/sys/kernel/random/cat entropy_avail"
+ /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail"
