Hi Leann (and thanks lien_meat for the confirmation), for me it happened on every boot once the desktop was loaded / or nearly finished loading and was 100% reliabel.
The warning did not happen with earlier kernels before [not sure if I tried the older kernel afterwards but I 'think' I did and the warning strangely was still there]. Since another update yesterday made karmic become unbootable, I had to reinstall karmic alpha 5 and have not dared to update it yet (stopped in terminal with 'init: Unable to connect to the system bus: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory' - will have to file another bug report if not already made by someone :-)). So sadly I cannot give you more informations. @lien_meat: If you could provide more informations asked for by Leann that would hopefully be helpful as well! That is, if your karmic is still working :-) Best regards and thanks! -- WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.31/include/net/mac80211.h:2104 minstrel_get_rate+0x1ef/0x470 [mac80211]() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/429855 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
