Public bug reported:

I'm using stateless autoconfiguration on Karmic and it works very
unreliable. Sometimes after boot the IPv6 address is set correctly, but
default route is not set. Usually even IPv6 address is not set.

Also, after "ifdown eth0" and "ifup eth0" IPv6 address is always lost
until the next reboot.

Link-local address is always present and is set correctly. Radvd on
local server works correctly (other machines and Windows XP systems work
fine), there are no network problems - I can see router announcements in
tcpdump.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
