2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu (no apt-get updates pending) I can reproduce this on demand every time I connect to vino-server from another host. Fault occurs approximately 5-10 seconds after the initial connection, during the first screen draw.
Because of the nature of the fault (dying when full-mtu packets are sent), I tried it again with a lower MTU, and /can not get it to hang/ when MTU is set to 1400.
