I have this same bug. It makes glabels practically useless. For anyone
who only needs text, boxes, lines and circles, you can zoom out and find
your object on the far left. Just drag it back onto the label, then zoom
back in to position it. This doesn't work for images, although it works
for boxes, lines, and circles. Even though I can find the image
placeholder on the far left, and move it back to the label, I can't get
it to resize. It stays stuck at minuscule size. I stretch it out, but it
doesn't hold, and when I try, it goes back to the far left.

I haven't tried printing. I really need images on the labels I'm trying
to create. If all you need are text, boxes, lines, and/or circles,
perhaps you can work around this issue as I describe above, then see if
it will print.
