Public bug reported: Hi,
I tried to mount 3 external flash media: one sd-card and two usb flash drives. When plugging them in the kernel does not recognize their partitions. Only /dev/sdb is created but not /dev/sdbX. If you look in the dmesg log, you see that the last usb flash drive has 2GB of space and two partitions, which have as filesystem ext2 and vfat. The previous sd-card and flash drive have vfat as filesystem and one partition. It would be great if this can be fixed, since it annoys me a lot and maybe other people, too.
