Does this happen every time every time you click "Install", or just when
there is nothing in the queue? From

if) there were no other tasks in progress when the installation was
requested, the Store should switch to displaying the “In Progress”
section. In future versions of the Store, progress will also be shown
within the application screen itself, eliminating the need to switch to
the “In Progress” section."
