I agree with the OP. I saw screenshots and it seems that the scrollbar can be obtrusive. I think, having a "colorized" scrollbar is preferred for subtle colors (like the blue on the default Clearlooks). I think, it is the rationale why the scrollbars on Shiki aren't colorized.
