Ah. to add all of these mic mixers are apart of the same card
(codec). So the problem is pulseaudio is not exposing multiple inputs on the
same card.
Since you have a USB headset that shows up as a 2nd sound
input. But if that USB headset had 2 inputs .. pulseaudio would only
expose one.
So you can easily switch between cards (codecs). But if that
card has more then one input it is not exposed.
