Can you please run the installer again in debug mode (run `ubiquity -d`
in a terminal window from "Try or Install Ubuntu") and attach
/var/log/syslog, /var/log/installer/debug, and /var/log/partman when it
starts to hang?
I'm assuming that the installation window is the only thing hanging, and
that you're able to access the rest of the desktop just fine. However,
do let me know if this is not the case.
