Public bug reported: I've been having an issue where the audio in the current build of Karmic is a bit cludgy. It tends to audibly pop on when audio is set to play and crackle constantly through the speakers whenever there is no sound being transmitted. It seems that it may be making audible the signals of the CPU through the speaker, as the noise coming out is generally relative to the activity of the computer at the time.
