Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
Hi, I have a livebox, who is the router of Orange http://www.dslvalley.com/adsl-test/livebox.php They have an incompatibility between this router and ipv6 on linux. I have to disable the ipv6 support in all the distribution i use before to have an usable internet (opensuse notably), but since now, i haven't any problem with ubuntu. In karmic the internet is very slow if we keep the default connexion, i find a solution on ubuntu-fr.org forum (i'm not alone to have this problem), we have to put the connection to manuel (ip 192.128.1.10, or something like), and specify the orange DNS, who is 80.10.246.2, 80.10.246.129 This problem is annoying because the users of livebox is numerous in france... ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Internet is very slow with a Livebox (ipv6 incompatibility) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/436815 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
