Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

The new grey icons in Ubuntu Karmic are very nice, but they get mixed with the
other 3rd party icons, and everything just ends up being messy.
A simple fix would be to flag the grey ones as "system" icons and move them
over to the right, while keeping the others on the left. It would look very
professional and aesthetic.

Demonstrated in attached image.
