Color for selected cells in calc is now set to the "selection" color in the current system theme, at 75% transparency (50% for the word processor). Depending on your theme, this may offer too little contrast with adjacent cells to be easily seen. This was a known bug that has since been fixed (http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=86069). The fix consists of a transparency checkbox and spinner in the options|ooo|view dialog box. Your version of 000 may not contain the fix. Ubuntu users who use the default theme often have this problem. I don't know if the forthcoming release has a fixed version of OOO.
For now, you can fix the problem by using a different theme like Clearview, or by customizing the selection color to something darker. Good luck! ** Bug watch added: OpenOffice.org Issue Tracker #86069 http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=86069 -- [upstream] [3.2] Calc Selection/Highlight Color very light https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318896 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
