Still using kernel 2.6.31.11.22. This time I repeatedly tested suspending. The story is the same as above - I have to wait some 20 seconds before the computer enters suspend mode.
However, after both suspend and hibernate, I have to wait some 1-2 minutes, before automatically reconnecting to network (I can right-click NetworkManager icon and choose Enable networking, which gives me immediate results) or even noticing plugged or removed laptop power cord! So, something is causing the delay.
